Job Title: Office Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to play a crucial role in supporting our operational and strategic decision-making processes. This position involves overseeing budgeting and forecasting, maintaining regulatory compliance, and collaborating with project managers on the financial performance of ongoing construction projects.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare and analyze reports to support operational and strategic decision making.
+ Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring alignment with project bids.
+ Assisting with AP/AR duties
+ Maintain compliance with regulations and internal controls.
+ Collaborate with project managers to track financial performance of ongoing construction projects.
+ Assist with payroll and collect hours for all employees.
+ Provide basic oversight of bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable.
+ Perform data entry tasks.
+ Track rents on real estate buildings owned by the company.
+ Oversee employee timekeeping, ensuring field workers are logged for the correct jobs.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years in an administrative role for a construction company.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office.
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Strong Excel skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ No specific certifications or education required.
Work Environment
The position is based in an office environment, working closely with a small team including the President, a Project Manager, an accounting person, and another administrative staff member. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 3 pm, and the role is fully onsite.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
