    Job Title: Parts Inventory Specialist

    Job Description

    As a Parts Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory, ordering parts, and ensuring the availability of necessary components for repairs and maintenance. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations by maintaining accurate inventory records and liaising with customers and suppliers.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive, store, and issue parts, materials, and equipment.

    + Maintain accurate records of inventory, parts replaced, and parts on order.

    + Communicate with customers and technicians to identify necessary parts.

    + Process customer orders and recommend additional related repair items.

    + Inspect delivered parts and compare them with invoices to ensure correctness.

    + Work with suppliers to obtain quotes and place orders.

    + Organize and maintain the parts storage area for easy access.

    + Perform periodic inventory audits to ensure proper stock levels.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in inventory management and parts inventory.

    + Proficiency in data entry and inventory control.

    + Experience in shipping and receiving.

    + Basic computer literacy, including email and document handling.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ years of experience in supply, logistics, shipping and receiving, warehouse, or inventory control.

    + Candidates with experience in parts rooms from places like AutoZone, NAPA, etc., have translatable skills.

    + Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richland, Mississippi.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
