Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

The role involves assisting in the construction of housing cases designed to protect electronic assemblies from extreme vibrations and temperature fluctuations during airplane flights at various altitudes. Responsibilities include operating mold machines to create molds for casting parts and using ovens to cure these molds. You will follow detailed work instructions, utilize hand tools, and prepare parts for the next step in the production process.

Responsibilities

+ Follow work instructions accurately.

+ Utilize hand tools for assembly tasks.

+ Prepare parts for subsequent production steps.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in manufacturing or production environments.

+ Mechanical Assembly expertise.

+ Proficiency in Machine Operation.

+ Ability to read and comprehend English for manufacturing instructions and drawings.

+ On-the-job training is provided.

Work Environment

The workplace is clean, quiet, and organized with high-tech workbench workstations. The role is on the 2nd shift with regular hours from 11am-9pm, Monday-Thursday, with the option to adjust to 12pm-10pm. Initial training is on the day shift from 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Voluntary overtime is available on Friday and Saturday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukie, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
