Job Title: Project Manager (K-14/DSA)Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with expertise in K-14 educational facility construction to oversee project management activities. This role requires a strong understanding of Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes and involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with project requirements and company standards.
Responsibilities
+ Demonstrate strong knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, schedule review, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
+ Obtain, maintain, and manage essential data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company standards between various project-related entities.
+ Coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of contractors/subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other related entities.
+ Manage project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures effectively.
+ Lead project meetings, ensuring documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses.
+ Ensure contractor, architect, engineer, and provider compliance with safety, performance, project staffing, and equipment requirements.
+ Provide management of project logistics, organization, safety, and manpower utilization.
+ Ensure project closeout to secure guarantees, warranties, and related provisions for final project delivery.
+ Conduct daily site visits as required.
+ Review and provide comments on all construction documents, including change orders, pay applications, and monthly schedules.
+ Prepare and distribute weekly meeting minutes and monthly and quarterly reports as required by the client.
Essential Skills
+ A four-year college degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent technical area of study is preferred; or additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education.
+ Possess 4 - 6 years of experience as a Project or Construction Manager for educational facility construction with a minimum construction value of $40M.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes.
+ Knowledge of construction cost estimating, change order management, project controls, scheduling, documentation, and engineering/construction principles.
+ Strong communication, writing, and computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Registration as an Architect, Engineer, and/or related qualification is desired.
+ Experience with Leadership in Energy Design certified projects or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS) is preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $152000.00/yr.
