    About the Role

    As an Analytical Chemist, you will play a vital role in advancing our purification processes of organic compounds using state-of-the-art distillation systems. Your analytical prowess will ensure the highest quality standards while supporting sustainable practices.     What You’ll Do

    + Set up, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced distillation equipment, including heating, cooling, vacuum, and pressure systems.

    + Accurately measure, transport, and prepare chemical samples following strict protocols.

    + Utilize sophisticated analytical instruments like gas chromatography to evaluate product quality and composition.

    + Analyze data to confirm process compliance, identify deviations, and implement process improvements.

    + Monitor critical process parameters to maximize yield, quality, and consistency across batches.

    + Compile detailed technical reports and test results to support ongoing process optimization.

    + Uphold the highest safety standards, ensuring all equipment and laboratory environments are maintained with excellence.

    + Keep your workspace organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.

    + Mentor and support fellow team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative learning environment.

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

    + 2-5 years of hands-on experience in distillation and analytical chemistry techniques.

    + Strong knowledge of vacuum distillation principles and proficiency with gas chromatography.

    + Experience working with hazardous materials and adhering to safety protocols.

    + Ability to handle physical tasks, including moving heavy containers (up to 700 lbs.) and working at heights using ladders.

    + A proactive mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    + This is a fully onsite role based in Danbury, CT.

    + The position involves exposure to hazardous materials, requiring strict safety compliance.

    + Physical activity includes lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
