    Job Title: Operator

    Job Description

    The operator will be responsible for producing quality products according to batch formulations and adhering to Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements as per company policy. The role involves record-keeping via computer systems, logging inventory used, filling out batch sheets, and following standardized work instructions. Continuous Improvement processes will be practiced alongside monitoring and adjusting equipment as needed. Completion of required paperwork and rotation to other workstations as necessary is also part of the job.

    Responsibilities

    + Produce quality product per batch formulations.

    + Follow Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements.

    + Record keeping via computer system and fill out batch sheets.

    + Follow standardized work instructions.

    + Practice Continuous Improvement processes.

    + Monitor and adjust equipment as needed.

    + Complete required paperwork.

    + Rotate to other workstations as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Experience with machine operation, blending, and mixing of chemicals.

    + Operation of equipment to produce adhesive pellets.

    + General labor and packaging skills.

    + Forklift operation and hand tool usage.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    + Skill in prioritizing work schedules.

    + Capability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

    + Comfortable working around moving equipment and using power tools.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring the use of a hard hat, steel toes, and safety glasses throughout the facility. Shift options include 1st Shift (7am-3pm), 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm), and 3rd Shift (11pm-7am).

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.30/hr.
