    We are seeking a Systems Engineer to assist with the implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), utilizing Red Hat Linux and VMWare technologies. This role involves assisting in the installation and testing of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Cisco Routers, as well as setting up cybersecurity protocols and firewalls.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist with the implementation of STIGs.

    + Utilize Red Hat Linux and VMWare for system configurations.

    + Aid in the installation and testing of LAN and Cisco Routers.

    + Assist in setting up cybersecurity protocols and firewalls.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.

    + Proficiency in STIG, Red Hat Linux, and VMWare.

    + Experience with LAN, WAN, Cisco Routers, and network switches.

    + Active secret clearance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to travel as needed to various sites for weeks at a time.

    Work Environment

    The position is on-site at various military installations, including Ft Bragg and High Point, NC. The role is very hands-on and involves taking direction from a Lead Network Engineer to assist in setting up new networks for the bases. Our client is a third-tier subcontractor in support of SIPR MOD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
