Join a highly reputable and established commercial interiors general contracting firm that has been thriving for nearly 40 years. Based in DC, this family-run company is dedicated to helping its employees grow their careers long-term. As a construction administrative assistant, you will handle compliance, payrolls, purchase orders, invoicing, and closeout/warranty processes. You will work exclusively on exciting DC College/University commercial construction projects for Georgetown University and Howard University, with opportunities to learn and grow from experienced mentors.
Responsibilities
+ Manage compliance and payroll processes.
+ Handle purchase orders and invoicing efficiently.
+ Ensure smooth closeout and warranty processes.
+ Assist with submittals, RFIs, and maintaining blueprints.
+ Coordinate with Assistant Project Managers and other team members.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of construction administration experience with compliance and payroll.
+ Experience in handling purchase orders and invoicing.
+ Excellent customer service skills.
+ Background in construction, particularly in interiors and commercial projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of flooring, drywall, and ceiling installations.
+ Experience working on university and school projects.
+ Ability to work closely with Assistant Project Managers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $45.67/hr.
