Job Description
As a weekend shift machine operator, you will work as a laser operator to create medical products, including biowearable sensors such as glucose monitors, wound care bandages, and diagnostic devices. You will operate various machines and be open to cross-training in different areas.
Responsibilities
+ Run cycles on the machines
+ Inspect parts as they emerge
+ Conduct tests on parts
+ Package items
+ Document information both manually and digitally
Essential Skills
+ Experience in machine operation, production, and laser technology
+ Familiarity with tools such as micrometers and calipers
+ Ability to perform visual inspections
+ Preferably 6+ months in manufacturing, including machine operating, mechanical, or medical assembly
+ Mechanically inclined with a consistent work history

Work Environment
The work schedule includes weekend shifts, with hours on Friday from 10 am to 10 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 8 pm. Base pay starts at $18 with 6-12 months of experience and $19.50 with 2-3 years of experience, with shift differentials increasing the pay. The team sizes vary per shift, with 15-20 people on the 1st shift, 5 people on the 2nd shift, and 3-4 people on the 3rd shift. Operators wear lab coats and hair nets in a moderately loud environment but can use one earbud to listen to personal audio entertainment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $22.43/hr.
