Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Supply Chain Technician to join our team in the stock room department. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, shipping and receiving, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to walk long distances, and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

+ Receive and scan medical supplies into the hospital inventory system.

+ Stock items in the supply chain department and par closets on each floor of the hospital.

+ Build various code carts for the hospital and nearby clinics, ensuring that each cart is stocked according to specific requirements.

+ Check expiration dates on items in code carts and follow the first-in, first-out (FIFO) concept.

+ Verify that items being stocked match the inventory and shelf locations.

+ Respond to emails and calls from the hospital regarding inventory needs.

Work Environment

The position is based in a hospital setting with a climate-controlled environment. The role involves interacting with doctors and nurses regularly. The schedule Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday, 4am - 2:30pm. Shifts may vary during holiday weeks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
