    We are seeking creative and driven marine designers and drafters to help shape the future of autonomous surface vessels. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in both traditional marine design and cutting-edge autonomous technologies. Your work will directly contribute to groundbreaking advancements in defense innovation and maritime autonomy.

    Responsibilities

    + Support new vessel construction through detailed 2D and 3D modeling and technical drawing production.

    + Create and modify ship construction drawings.

    + Work directly with naval architects, marine engineers, and electrical engineers on new vessel design implementation.

    + Maintain strict drawing standards.

    + Create documentation for marine regulatory compliance.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in ShipConstructor, NX, AutoCAD, and Rhino.

    + Mechanical design, electrical design, structural design, and piping design expertise.

    + Associate's Degree or Technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or similar field.

    + 5+ years of experience in CAD Drafting.

    + 5+ years of experience in 2D/3D design.

    + 5+ years of experience with NX, ShipConstructor, AutoCAD, and Rhino.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong fundamentals in one or more areas of vessel design: general design, mechanical design, electrical design, structural design, and piping design.

    + Knowledge of maritime regulatory requirements, construction tolerances, and vessel construction processes and sequences.

    Work Environment

    The candidate will be working in a shipyard environment, without any office setting. Necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided if needed.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
