We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sr. Firmware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing the firmware required to interpret and manipulate the data from a variety of sensing technologies used in the company's family of flow and BTU meter systems. This includes developing new calculation algorithms and improving existing ones. This job also includes being technical project lead for the development of precision measurement devices. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Generate firmware using “C” code for various microprocessor platforms Lead a cross-functional team of engineers in the development of new products (electrical, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing) Develop test procedures and write software unit tests Lead and participate in design reviews. Define technical requirements and software architecture, including drivers based on market and top-level system requirements. All other related duties as required. Knowledge and Skills Requirement: C Programming Version Control Git and/or SVN Higher level programming language, such as Python or Embedded Device Programming Excellent written and verbal communication skills Technical Leadership Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Masters a plus) 5+ years experience with programming in C 5+ years experience in hands on development of measurement or scientific instrumentation 3+ years experience in a formal technical leadership roll 10+ years experience in programming embedded devices Traits: Ability to uphold the mission and vision of TASI Measurement. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $131000.00 - $151000.00/yr.
