**Job Title:** API Automation Test Engineer (Karate DSL)

**Job Summary:** **Concentrix is** Seeking an API and Automation Testing Engineer with expertise in RESTful API testing and automation using Karate DSL. The role involves writing and maintaining test scripts, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing automation frameworks. Proficiency in HTTP methods, JSON/XML, Java, and Gherkin syntax required; Selenium experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

API Testing:

+ Demonstrate solid understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE)

+ Interpret and work with JSON and XML data structures

+ Utilize tools like Postman or Swagger for API validation and exploration

+ Develop and maintain test cases based on API contracts/specifications

+ Apply foundational knowledge of RESTful services to ensure robust testing coverage

Automation Testing (Karate DSL):

+ Develop automated test scripts using Karate DSL

+ Write feature files using Gherkin/Cucumber syntax (Given, When Then)

+ Leverage Java proficiency to support Karate-based automation

+ Design and implement reusable functions and maintainable code structures in Karate

+ Build and maintain a scalable automation framework tailored to project needs

+ Execute and manage automated test suites

+ Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing

+ Optimize test strategy, refactor code for efficiency, and maintain test stability

+ Handle advanced testing scenarios, including data-driven testing and mock services

Nice to Have:

+ Working knowledge of Selenium for UI testing

The base salary range for this position is $91,457 - $137,186, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
