    Description

    Summary:

    The Lead ETL Developer provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.

    + Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.

    + Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.

    + Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.

    + May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff.

    + May serve as project leader for specific projects.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Basic Technical Qualifications:

    + 5+ years of ETL development experience within a Data Warehouse environment

    + Bachelors Degree

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Programming Languages: SQL, Python, PySpark

    + ETL Tools : AWS Glue, IBM Datastage

    + Database : Snowflake, MySql, Oracle, SQL Server

    + Workflow Orchestration & Automation : Zena

    + Cloud Technologies : AWS S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lamda, AWS EC2

    + Data Governance : Infogix

    + Version Control & CI/CD : Git, Jenkins

    + Agile Scrum: Azure Dev Ops

    + Deep understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards.

    + Strong experience in software engineering comprising of designing, developing and operating robust and highly-scalable cloud infrastructure services.

    + Strong experience with Python/PySpark, DataStage ETL and SQL development.

    + Proven experience in cloud infrastructure projects with hands on migration expertise on public clouds such as AWS and Azure, preferably Snowflake.

    + Knowledge of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies.

    + Understand Authentication & Authorization Services, Identity & Access Management.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Strong organization skills and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.

    + AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

    + Experience defining future state roadmaps for data warehouse applications.

    + Experience leading teams of developers within a project.

    + Experience in financial services (banking) industry.
