    Job Description:

    The MIG Gun Division (Bernard / Tregaskiss) of Miller Electric, an ITW Company, is looking for an **Inside Sales Specialist** to join our world-class team. This onsite position may be located in either Beecher, IL, USA or Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

     

    The Inside Sales Team drives product conversions, increases customer adoption, and supports regional sales teams through targeted engagement strategies. In this role you will focus on customer relationship management, product education, and sales enablement. You will work closely with distributor partners and fragmented end users to identify opportunities, deliver training and product demonstrations, coordinate product trials, and support the sales team in growing and defending MIG Gun Division (MGD) market share while enhancing the overall customer experience.

    How you will make an impact:

    Sales Enablement & Customer Engagement

    + Aligns divisional goals with regional sales efforts by collaborating closely with the sales team to identify target accounts and develop effective conversion and retention strategies in defined sales geographies.

    + Provides product recommendations tailored to address specific customer challenges.

    + Delivers training, product demonstrations, and sales support to sales teams, distributors, and end users.

    + Leads opportunities with channel partners, end users, and internal sales teams on product trials to ensure successful adoption.

    + Understands and comfortably presents ROI analyses and proposals to support customer conversion initiatives.

    + Prepares and presents conversion proposals and pricing strategies.

    + Serves as a liaison for the MIG Gun Division region, addressing customer and sales team needs while connecting them with the appropriate division resources.

    + Collaborates with Field Technical Resources to advance conversion opportunities.

    + Develops and maintains strong relationships with key channel partners and end customers.

    + Comfortable interacting with all levels of decision makers including ownership and upper management

    Sales Operations & Support

    + Manages product orders and monitors order statuses to ensure timely fulfillment.

    + Maintains accurate records of sales opportunities and performance metrics in D365 CRM.

    + Administers pricing contracts and strategies for applicable customers.

    What you need to do to be successful in this role:

    + **Relationship Building:** Ability to build and leverage relationships among employees, distributors, and key end-users.

    + **Technical Aptitude:** Knowledge of welding products, especially semi-automatic torches and consumables, including both technical and commercial aspects.

    + **Communication Skills** : Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be comfortable engaging with customers and ITW sales teams via phone and in person.

    + **Strong Organization Skills:** Highly focused, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

    + **Teamwork:** Must be a collaborative team player with a positive attitude, high motivation, and strong decision-making abilities.

    + **Adaptability:** Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment that values an entrepreneurial spirit.

    + **Presentation Skills:** Demonstrated ability to present and facilitate in front of groups.

    + **Driven:** Persistent, goal-oriented, and results-driven mindset

    Qualifications

    + Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a customer-facing field, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

    + A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in sales, inside sales, business development, marketing, or similar customer-facing role is required.

    + Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams). Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamic 365 CRM (D365) and ERP order management software is a plus.

    + Must be available for up to 10% travel within Canada & the United States for customer visits, supplier meetings, and industry events.

    Compensation Information

     

    The annual base salary range for this position is $71,000 – 90,000 annually. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. The company considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as geographic location, market, and business considerations.
