Job Purpose:
The Business Analyst’s job purpose is to review, analyze, evaluate, and document business
systems and user needs. Assist with developing technical solutions in a cost-effective way by
determining the requirements of a project and communicating them to stakeholders and
facilitators.

• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for
improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
• Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures and quality
standards
• Analyze business data to define and evaluate problems, and recommend
software/hardware solutions
• Assist in the collection and consolidation of information and data required for project
delivery and develop project requirements
• Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones and phases
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Perform Quality Assurance testing
• Coordinate final testing with users and verify IT systems satisfy user’s requirements
• Interviews internal Subject Matter Experts to understand work functions and processes
and gather information
• Writes detailed procedure documents based on discussions with process owners
• Develop materials to document operational end-to-end process flows
• Help design, document and maintain system processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve simple inquiries and requests from internal and external
clients.

• Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations
to improve efficiencies
• Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, and recommending
actions.
• Regularly evaluate ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value
to the customer
Qualifications Guidelines
Education/Training:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Experience/Certification:
• A minimum of 5 years experience in business analysis or a related field
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent documentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Strong experience in user testing and project management
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills

We have a need for an additional BA resource to support our stakeholders growing backlog of projects and enhancements. This role will be part of our software delivery team who is responsible for all software enhancements and project work. Since this team supports the entire org, we are looking for someone who can meet with a variety of different stakeholders and quickly gain knowledge about their areas of our business to understand their ask and capture them as requirements that the developers can design/build solutions from.
Leaning more towards Business Analyst role over Business Systems Analyst as a better fit for our team, someone who excels at analyzing business processes and documenting requirements. We do not have as big a need for BAs who are better equipped to lead design/implementation. Understanding many skilled BAs are able to do both, we don’t need to exclude those BSAs, just want to make sure those candidates can adapt to what we are needing.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
