We are looking for:
+ The **Plant Manager in Baltimore, MD** to: Staff, organize, plan and lead -
+ Overall direction of the plant to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
+ Manufacturing practices to assure a high degree of safety and process capability.
+ Lead the continuous improvement efforts within the plant.
+ Ensure the cost-effective manufacture of plant production.
We count on you for:
+ Responsible for all Manufacturing plant activities, objectives, and budgeted goals for operations, safety, environmental, cost, quality, service, capital expenses, and materials.
+ Review operations, activity reports, and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining goals and objectives.
+ Initiate needed change to ensure effective/efficient operations.
+ Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the Company policies and applicable laws.
+ Lead organization in safety best practices, quality principles, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, supply chain management, engineering best practices, ISO, environmental best practices, and data base management.
+ Provide mentoring, employee development, and growth opportunities for the entire workforce.
+ Ensure the site meets its critical objectives by managing assigned elements of the HSE, Quality, and Operation Improvement plans.
+ Champion advancement initiatives in the areas of Safety, Zero Defect, and Operations Improvement through the utilization of a continuous improvement culture.
You will bring:
+ 7+ years’ leadership experience in the chemical manufacturing industry with a demonstrated ability to manage site operations;
+ Experience managing batching and continuous chemical site (surfactant and monomers manufacturing) would be preferred.
+ Good understanding OSHA/PSM requirements / regulations
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing experience, and Black Belt would be a plus.
+ Strong analytical skills.
+ Prior experience in managing and developing employees.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Leadership skills are necessary for directing, motivating, and developing subordinates.
+ Active Community involvement experience.

+ Competitive salary and benefits.
+ The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $152,000 to $190,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
+ 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations.
