Job Description:
Oversee critical infrastructure design and operations. Review and approve Corporate Real Estate change control process in critical environments. Develop, review and revise infrastructure design standards. Manages compliance processes for approximately 200 Tier 2 and 3 Critical Facilities worldwide. Directly responsible for ensuring 100% uptime of the Bank's most critical assets. Provides technical recovery support world wide in the event of a critical building environmental outage. Interface with client senior managers in T&O, GCIB and Call Centers to insure proper use of scarce critical infrastructure. Typically has 10+ year of related experience.
Position Summary:
_This position manages the relationship at a Data Center critical facilities project level, with the Bank’s outsourced vendor and is the primary point of contact for their respective region (TX/PA/VA) for escalation as necessary. This role is the day to day leader overseeing all aspects of the project portfolio as well as oversight of the Bank’s outsourced vendor ensuring adherence to Bank processes and procedures, and that projects are completed on time and within budget._
Required Qualifications:
+ Five or more years of critical environment work execution experience
+ Ten years or more of Mission Critical Data Center involvement
+ Ability to identify risks and propose mitigation plans
+ Advanced knowledge and understanding of mission critical infrastructure systems including Buildings and Advance BMS or EMS systems.
+ Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
+ Ability to keep Bank's Senior Leaders apprised of any concerns/needs where the Bank’s outsourced vendor requires assistance or guidance for projects.
+ Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure (UPS, Generators, Cooling, BMS, Security, Etc.)
+ Basic skills in Microsoft Office products – Specifically Excel, Word, Teams, and Power Point.
+ Responsible for respective regional project prioritization working in concert with the Bank’s outsourced vendor and Bank SMEs
+ Quality Control for the performance of the Bank’s outsourced vendor in the respective regions – examples include oversight of budgets/schedules/vendors and ensuring on time and on budget project execution
+ Maintain consistency with Bank’s outsourced vendor such as process/execution throughout all the facilities (regional team meetings; keeping communication between the teams across all regions)
+ Oversight of Bank’s outsourced vendor that manages the workload of the team; review and provide feedback on assigned new work based upon strong Bank knowledge of the critical facilities project portfolio.
+ Ensure all contractual metrics (KPI's) are being met by the Bank’s outsourced vendor team and escalate where appropriate.
+ Ensure third party vendor management is followed according to Bank protocol.
+ Validates the Bank’s outsourced vendor is reporting incidents appropriately and provides updates to Bank Leaders.
+ Ensure annual capital planning processes and procedures are being followed according to Bank specifications and is done in year and in concert with various subject matter experts and senior leadership.
Desired Qualifications:
+ BS/BA degree or higher in construction management, design, engineering or equivalent military experience in a technical field related to operations, construction or project management in a highly mission critical environment.
+ Ability to identify risks and propose mitigation plans
+ Knowledge and understanding of mission critical infrastructure systems including Buildings and Advance BMS or EMS systems.
+ Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
