    Program Manager - Algebra, Statistics, and PreCalculus

    Position Description:

    Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.

    Major/Essential Functions:

    + Coordinate with the Senior Program Manager and TSI Program Director to plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction. ​​​​

    + Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics as required by the Texas College Career and Readiness standards for mathematics.

    + Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions and prepare and administer course materials as required by university and departmental guidelines.

    + Maintain student records as required by university and departmental guidelines including, but not limited to, attendance records, grades, and student conduct records.

    + Keep abreast of developments and technological advances in the field of Developmental Mathematics by reading current literature, collaborating with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences and professional development opportunities.

    + Prepare and present information about TTU College Readiness programs to educational partners and prospective students.

    + Collaborate with university partners to create College Readiness coursework that supports various math courses.

    + Assist Senior Program Manager in creation, coordination, and presentation of new College Readiness programming focused on bridging knowledge and skills gaps salient within new and returning TTU students.

    + Assist with Red Raider Orientation and implementation of various College Readiness programs.
