Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Menard Inc. Flight Department is looking for a certified A&P technician to join our team. This individual will be providing maintenance, inspection and repair to Cessna Citations and Embraer Regional Jets while maintaining a high level of dedication to service, safety and quality. Candidates should be resourceful and willing to learn, detail oriented, highly motivated, and take ownership of their work.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct inspections, repairs and modifications to airframes, engines and avionics systems during routine and non-routine maintenance inspections

• Identify and remedy defects noted during scheduled and non-scheduled inspections

• Properly follow manufacturer maintenance manuals and FAA Part 125 Approved Inspection Program

• Accurately complete and maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities through the use of aircraft logbooks and CAMP Systems International software

• Document and maintain parts, tooling and equipment inventory

• Inspect and repair components including but not limited to aircraft wheels and batteries

• MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES: Will be required to perform other duties at the direction of Flight Department Management

Skills/Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

+ FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate

+ Meet the recency of experience requirements of 14 CFR § 65.83

+ Strong interpersonal communication

+ Ability to work and problem solve independently as well as part of a team

+ Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally

+ Be capable of standing, bending, crouching and stretching for prolonged periods of time

+ Read and understand detailed schematics and wiring diagrams
