About this Role
The SIM (Shops and Infrastructure Maintenance) MAC is responsible for driving work process excellence for both daily maintenance activities and in the Central Maintenance Shop. Provides the key link from Maintenance to the Business for budgeting/goal alignment, ensures work process compliance and ensures uses of Most Effective Technology (MET)/work practices within the Maintenance area/zone teams. Requires advanced skills and expertise in a range of processes, procedures, and systems, and/or specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process to perform a broad range of complex work assignments. May act as a working team lead, providing subject matter guidance and coordinating work of others.
Responsibilities
+ Oversees compliance and implementation of the work process for assigned Maintenance Team(s)
+ Interfaces with business partners to define work requirements and determines priorities and resourcing strategies
+ Applies the work process and ensures that team members understand the work process, maintenance procedures and EH&S requirements
+ Measures the efficiency and productivity of the work process and initiates Management of Change (MOC) for improvements and fast knowledge transfer
+ Ensures that all maintenance employees comply with all applicable elements of the Maintenance Procedure Use Policy
+ Creates, develops, changes and updates job procedures and checklists, and initiates procedure MOC’s, as needed
+ Facilitates use of work processes within assigned Maintenance Team(s).
+ Understands partner work requirements and work priorities
+ Coaches Global Maintenance Work Process (GMWP) roles on work process understanding/execution
+ Generates, analyzes and takes action on Maintenance productivity and cost measurements and data
+ Collaborates with area maintenance leadership to assess work process performance data and make adjustments, as necessary, for continuous improvement
+ Possesses working knowledge of SAP relative to the GMWP
Requirements
+ A high school diploma or GED equivalent
+ 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience
+ Previous experience using SAP
+ A valid US driver’s license
+ A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
