We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Systems Analyst with deep expertise in Workday Payroll (Americas), Compensation, and/or Time Tracking to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. This role will serve as a Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME), responsible for the design, configuration, testing, and ongoing support of Workday solutions related to HR, Payroll, and Time Management.
You will work remotely (aligned with Eastern Time), collaborating with cross-functional teams in HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to drive system efficiency, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with regional payroll regulations across the Americas (U.S., Canada, LATAM).
Contract Type: 3-Month Contract Assignment
Pay Rate: $160 – $170/hour
Key Responsibilities:
+ Configure and support Workday Payroll, Compensation, and/or Time Tracking modules
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
+ Optimize and maintain Workday processes including EIBs, calculated fields, condition rules, and security settings
+ Support payroll processing and compliance efforts across the Americas region
+ Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions
+ Design, test, and validate payroll processes and integrations
+ Develop custom and standard Workday reports; extract, manipulate, and visualize HR data
+ Ensure compliance with internal policies and regional payroll regulations
+ Work cross-functionally to support system upgrades, audits, and process improvements
+ Provide training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
+ 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience with emphasis on Payroll and Compensation and/or Time Tracking
+ In-depth knowledge of Workday configuration, business process design, and reporting tools
+ Expertise in Americas payroll regulations (U.S., Canada, LATAM)
+ Experience with Workday EIBs, calculated fields, condition rules, and security configuration
+ Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related issues
+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
+ Detail-oriented with strong analytical and time-management capabilities
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with Workday Absence, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, or Expenses modules
+ Familiarity with third-party payroll integrations (e.g., Safeguard)
+ Workday certifications in Payroll, Compensation, and/or Time Tracking
+ Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
+ Experience working within a global, multi-country organization
