THE ROLE
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the daily activities required to run, maintain, and service the facility and/or the events by performing the following duties personally or through delegation to stagehands and conversion hands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ In coordination with the Senior Events Manager, the Operations Supervisor will create, plan, and implement all normal and necessary quality control documents
+ Assist in supervising and scheduling all aspects of operations, including production, technical, audiovisual, and custodial services.
+ Serve as the lead person responsible for conversions on setups and changeovers
+ Meet with clients and vendors on behalf of the organization and communicate needs on their behalf.
+ Implement facility rules, regulation policies and procedures.
+ Anticipate problems and appropriate solutions. Investigate, analyze, and resolve operational problems and complaints.
+ Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of directives to other departments.
+ Ensure that Operations Department receives pertinent information for most effective use of the facility and staffing.
+ Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage or loss of property or any other safety concerns to the manager
+ Assure facility readiness and smooth operation of events.
+ Serve as Manager on Duty as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
+ Associate degree from a technical college
+ Or a minimum of two (2) years in public assembly industry in as a maintenance, production, or audiovisual staff; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities
+ Excellent organizational skills
+ Ability to think, work, and operate independently
+ Ability to prioritize and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Problem solving skills including but not limited to conflict resolution, troubleshooting technical and facility services, and emergency response
+ Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact at all levels of staffing, including management.
+ Ability to effectively work with and lead staff.
+ Strong customer service skills
+ Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic
