CTG is seeking to fill a Logistics Representative opening for our client in Pittsburgh, PA.
**Location:** Pittsburgh, PA
**Duration:** 12 months
**Pay Rate:** $25.00/hour
Duties:
+ Monitor daily activities at assigned 3rd party logistics (3PL) facilities across the US and Canada to ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods
+ Complete inbound and outbound inventory transactions using SAP ERP system
+ Troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolution across internal and external partners
+ Maintain inventory and asset accuracy according to established policies and procedures
+ Develop, audit, and modify operational procedures for warehouses, bulk terminals, and transload operations
+ Train and support 3PL provider personnel on logistics procedures and requirements
+ Participate in physical inventory audits and lead internal cycle count processes for assigned locations
+ Set standards and procedures for the accurate and timely payment of invoices, consistent with operational contracts and purchase orders
+ Implement cost allocations agreed upon with internal business units
+ Tender (assign) bulk transportation shipments and manage order changes using SAP ERP and a 3rd-party transportation management system
+ Coordinate with order management, carriers, and shipping sites to ensure efficient product movement and equipment availability
+ Provide backup coverage for other areas within Warehousing & Bulk Terminal Operations and Transportation Operations
Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations
+ Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
+ Ability to analyze and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
Experience:
+ 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation operations
+ Experience working with 3PL providers is preferred
+ Familiarity with inventory control and distribution systems
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred
+ Equivalent work experience will be considered
