Supporting North America, Europe, and Asia, we partner with leaders across Category Planning, Brand Development, and Operations to unlock insights that shape the future of retail product creation. As a Senior Analyst, Merchandise Solutions & Analytics, you’ll lead key technology initiatives and optimize core merchandise systems that support Disney’s retail operations worldwide. You will collaborate with local & global teams to configure, automate, and enhance retail applications, ensuring that systems are smart, scalable, and ready to power the future of Disney products. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Merchandise Systems.

This is a Full-Time role.

What You Will Do:

+ **Lead & Deliver:** Guide cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver system enhancements that drive business value

+ **Translate & Build:** Convert business needs into technical specs and help engineers bring those to life

+ **Automate & Optimize:** Build tools and workflows using SQL, JSON, Python, VBA, or other scripting languages and data pipeline/ETL tools (SSIS, Alteryx, KNIME)

+ **Troubleshoot Like a Pro:** Diagnose issues across data pipelines, custom and packaged retail applications to ensure smooth operations

+ **Communicate Clearly:** Create executive-ready reports, updates, and visuals that keep stakeholders informed and inspired

+ **Support & Scale:** Manage installations, maintenance, and user inquiries — all while keeping projects on time and on budget

Required Qualifications & Skills:

+ 5+ years of experience in retail system administration, implementation, and configuration

+ Strong experience with retail tech like Oracle Retail, Blue Yonder, or Relex

+ Skilled with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy

+ Working knowledge of Snowflake, SQL Server, and Microsoft Access

+ Effective communicator with both technical and business teams

+ Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project environments

+ Passion for working in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Exposure to machine learning or cloud technologies

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics or related fields

Preferred Education:

Master’s Degree and/or 5+ years of equivalent work experience
