    Position Description

The Product Integration role will be on a dynamic team, supporting Team Submarine In-service Program Office.     Team Submarine’s Submarine COLUMBIA Class Program Office is responsible for: The construction of COLUMBIA Class submarines, financial and budget management, shipyard support of submarines, vendor support of submarines, logistical support, quality assurance (SUBSAFE), and post-delivery submarine certifications and test programs.

     

    The Team Submarine concept unifies once diverse submarine-related activities into a single submarine-centric organization with the goal of eliminating traditional stovepipe structures and processes that created impediments and inefficiencies in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities. Team Submarine provides improved communication among the various offices that contribute to the overall success of the United States Submarine Force.

    In this role, you will:

    + Coordinate with Naval maintenance activities for the procurement, installation, quality assurance testing and certifications of various shipboard equipment and systems.

    + Develop briefs to the program office regarding the procurement, installation, quality assurance testing and certification of various shipboard equipment and systems.

    + Create and maintain procedures for distribution and inventory management.

    + Create and maintain a central repository for all integrated logistics support (ILS).

    + Coordinate with maintenance activities to ensure practices and procedures are being implemented and adhered to.

    + Other various programmatic tasking.

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

    + Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.

    + A bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience.

    + Degree requirements may be adjusted based on additional related experience, highly specialized knowledge, or uniquely applicable experience.

    + Experience working directly with quality assurance/control programs.

    + Experience working directly with Trident Refit Facilities (TRF) or other Intermediate Maintenance Activities (IMA) work practices, scheduling and procedures

    + An advanced MS Office skillset to include Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Excel.

    + Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment accepting emergent tasking with little to no supervision and/or direction.

    + Discretion in performing specified work requirements.

    + Outstanding written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with a vast team of diverse professionals.

    + Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines, as well as work independently and with sufficient knowledge to present projects to senior management.

    + Ability to travel 25%.

    Additional desired experience and skills:

    + Any experience serving on submarines is a plus.
