    FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park.     Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dynamic, strategic-minded **Carrier Business Unit Manager** to oversee our Carrier product line. This role will be responsible for managing the product portfolio, driving sales planning and forecasting, partnering with operations on product planning, and developing strategic supplier relationships. You will also work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute impactful marketing strategies and drive market share growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, sales planning, pricing, and market analysis, with a proven ability to foster performance and growth initiatives.

    Job Duties/Responsibilities:

    + **Product Portfolio Management:** Oversee and manage the Carrier product line, ensuring alignment with market demands and company objectives. Collaborate with operations to coordinate product planning and inventory management, ensuring the portfolio supports business growth.

    + **Signature/Vermeer Dealer Coverage & Growth:** Collaborate with RSMs to develop strategies for enhancing Signature dealer coverage and driving growth. Lead performance improvement efforts through tailored growth initiatives that align with dealer needs and market conditions.

    + **Sales Planning & Forecasting:** Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts for the Carrier product line. Provide insights and analysis to support data-driven decision-making and business goals, enabling effective resource allocation and sales strategies.

    + **Strategic Supplier Relationship Management:** Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure product quality, availability, and competitive pricing. Collaborate closely with suppliers to resolve issues and improve product offerings in line with customer expectations.

    + **Market Share & Competitive Analysis:** Monitor market trends and perform competitive analysis to identify opportunities for market share expansion. Work with regional sales managers (RSMs) to adjust strategies and capitalize on emerging trends and shifts in the competitive landscape.

    + **Pricing Strategy:** Define and implement pricing strategies that ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability. Analyze market conditions and sales data to adjust pricing for optimal market positioning and profitability.

    + **Performance Reporting & Improvement Initiatives:** Track and report on Carrier product performance to the leadership team, identifying areas for improvement. Lead initiatives to boost sales performance, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize product offerings and customer outreach.

    + **Marketing Collaboration:** Partner with the marketing team to create and execute strategies for the Carrier product line. Ensure that marketing materials and campaigns effectively promote Carrier products, positioning them to capture market attention and drive sales.

    + **Training & Support:** Provide ongoing training and support to RSMs and dealers, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively sell Carrier products. Foster relationships to drive product adoption and optimize sales efforts.

    + **Cross-Department Collaboration:** Work closely with finance, customer service, and product development teams to align on sales goals, operational processes, and product launches. Ensure smooth execution of product strategies across all relevant departments.

    + **Product Lifecycle Management:** Oversee the entire lifecycle of the Carrier products, from ideation to post-launch analysis. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure products meet market needs and quality standards. Develop go-to-market strategies and manage product discontinuation planning to optimize portfolio performance.

    + **Sales Metrics & KPIs:** Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, profitability, and product adoption rates. Use these metrics to assess product success and adjust strategies accordingly to achieve business objectives.

    + Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    + Proven track record of managing product portfolios and implementing growth initiatives.

    + Strong experience with pricing strategy, forecasting, and competitive analysis.

    + Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams in sales, marketing, engineering, finance, and operations.

    + Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making and strategy.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.

    + Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Education and Experience:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

    + Minimum 10 years of experience in product management, sales leadership, or related roles (preferably in heavy equipment industry or similar).

    Physical Requirements:

    + Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    + Must be able to access and navigate the production facility.

    + Must be able to lift 15 lbs. at a time.
