Job Description
The account manager is responsible for one or more accounts from small accounts to group and PACE accounts. The account manager has a thorough understanding of the issues strategy and organization. They build a 1 to 3 years strategy roadmap for the account. The account manager becomes a strategic partner and trusted advisor in developing the account shaping opportunities. They coordinate operations and ensure delivery quality.
Job Description
Understands the client's local/global strategy, is able to influence the client strategy with the Capgemini strategy and portfolio.
Translates this in a rolling 3-year account plan.
Understands the market and industry and positioning as industry expert. Is able to generate large scale deals. Local/global account, indicative responsibility between M20 and M50 yearly revenue.
We are seeking a top-performing account executive to manage new business opportunities within Capgemini Financial Services Strategic Business Unit (FS SBU) clients. The ideal candidate must have an entrepreneurial spirit relevant industry experience and demonstrate strong selling attributes & relationship management. 3-5 yrs experience as a client partner or account executive. Willing to live in Hartford CT or New York City Metro Area Insurance Industry experience preferred but not required
Build and manage strategic relationships for our financial services clients serving as the single point of contact for new business as well as existing project delivery activities for the account. Have a clear grasp on the plan status progress and risks associated with every project You-ll form part of the steering committee for such large engagement to monitor the overall progress of the account
Understand the key trends related to the insurance industry or and provide value-added solutions / suggestions to the client
Respond to the clients- high priority needs for service and support
Demonstrate progress in revenue forecasting and profitability management
Build relationships including executive level at the client sites
Proven experience of working in a like for like role
You will be a true farmer with a broad network within the financial service industry
Must have prior experience of growing business selling technology solutions and will be a self-starter
Must have solid work experience in the financial services vertical in the US Solid experience of working in insurance transformation programmes
Prior experience working in a revenue target driven role Demonstrable experience of consultative selling A broad understanding of I.T. services / technologies
Experience of developing and selling into C-level contacts in the industry
You'll bring expert knowledge to the table of digital cloud and data transformation
Overall experience in sales contract negotiation effective presentations and a solution provider mindset is essential
Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience interfacing with the customers and vendors at various levels especially at the CTO/CIO/ VP/Director level
