Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the UNDERSEA SYSTEMS ACQUISITION AND ASSESSMENT DIVISION of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. Responsibilities You will be is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and management of comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategies. You will ensure that logistical considerations are addressed and requirements are achieved at each stage of the lifecycle. You will establish consistent logistics related processes, business rules, roles and responsibilities and work with other agencies to ensure timely, coordinated, and efficient logistics function. You will identify the specific requirements for money, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to support programs. You will prepare, coordinate, and integrate the identification, acceptance, development, acquisition, tracking and delivery of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements for systems or equipment assigned to programs. You will ensure that contractors fulfill their ILS responsibilities in support of production of weapon systems. You will ensure that adequate logistics provisions are planned, developed, and implemented to ensure the identification, prevention and correction of unsatisfactory conditions. You will coordinate, monitor and evaluate the results of ILS on torpedo production hardware and it's transfer into operational use. You will assess available data, evaluate, and prepare status reports and schedules as required to complete project assignments. You will develop, specify, manage, plan, review and apply ILS elements, principles, disciplines, procedures, and requirements in support of production acceptance policies, procedures, and tasks. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate providing logistics lifecycle support and configuration management functions with unclassified and classified Information Technology (IT) Systems and equipment.
