    Jensen Precast (Sparks, NV)


    Join Jensen Infrastructure as a Class A Line Driver. You will be responsible for safely delivering precast products and adhering to DOT regulations, while providing excellent customer service.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    + Secure and Transport large precast materials.

    + Advise supervisor of any issues after pre-trip inspections are completed; communicates with dispatch as needed duringthe course of the day.

    + Understand and be fully aware of all DOT guidelines and adhere to such regulations; maintain logs of working hours andof vehicle service and repair status following applicable state and federal regulations; check all load-related documentation toensure that it is complete and accurate; immediately report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.

    + Ensure proper customer service by reviewing and comparing invoice to what product is loaded; collects deliveryinstructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions, and requested routes/drop off location; reads and interpret maps inorder to determine vehicle routes; drive trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes, in order to documentweights and to comply with state regulations; obtain receipts or signatures when loads are delivered to customers.

    + Work closely with your dispatcher to confirm routes.

    + Maintain logs and ensure compliance with regulations.

    + Ensure on-time delivery of products to our customers.

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    + 2+ years driver experience strongly preferred

    + Valid Class A CDL

    + Experience using flatbed trailers to secure and transport large and heavy loads

    + Commitment to safety and quality work
