What You’ll Do as a Civil Design Engineer
• Develop grading plans, site layouts, and utility designs that meet project goals and regulatory standards.
• Design innovative stormwater management systems, including detention/retention basins, low-impact development, and green infrastructure solutions.
• Engineer water, sanitary sewer, and storm systems in compliance with local codes and utility standards.
• Prepare accurate designs, calculations, cost estimates, reports, permit applications and construction plans.
• Maintain detailed and accurate project records, including progress reports and budget tracking.
• Coordinate with reviewers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality consistent project deliverables.
• Promote, utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables
• Collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies to secure permits and project approvals.
• Monitor construction projects for compliance with engineering plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Evaluate sites to confirm adherence to design intent and identify any necessary adjustments.
• Partner with internal teams, clients, and consultants to deliver successful project outcomes.

Salary Range$83,000-$98,000
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. Requirements
What You Bring, Your Expertise as a Civil Design Engineer
+ B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (MS preferred).
+ 5-10 years’ minimum engineering experience in the Land Development sector with knowledge of multiple aspects of civil engineering and site design
+ Proficient with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
+ EIT required
+ Professional Engineering license (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it.
