    Senior Manager, Clinic Operations – Orthopedics

     

    The Senior Manager of Orthopedic Clinic Operations is a key leader of the Swedish Medical Group team, spearheading development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure cost-effective and quality operations at our Orthopedic clinics. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing 2 clinics, 2 supervisors, 8 physicians, 6 APCs, 2 hand therapists, and over 20 caregivers. You will also be partnering directly with the orthopedic medical director on the daily basis.

    Job Description:

    The Clinic Manager III provides ongoing leadership for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure cost-effective and quality operations of multiple clinics. Ensures strategic integration of are and clinical practices to provide an optimal patient experience. Leads staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in a timely manner which are sensitive to the patient's physical and psychological needs.

     

    At our Orthopedic Clinics, we treat injuries including arthritis pain, back pain, joint pain and pain from strains and sprains that impact our patients’ quality of life. Join our team to help patients with musculoskeletal needs overcome chronic joint pain and injury.

    + Builds relationships & trust quickly

    + Maintains cross-functional partnerships with primary care clinics and hospitals

    + Is comfortable with a high-visibility, high-accountability and high-intensity role at a large health system

    + Has excellent communication skills, working with everyone from schedulers to executive medical directors

    + Advocates for their team and facilities

    + Facilitates process implementation for improving clinic operations

    + Is tech-savvy and adaptable

    + Has program management experience

    + Has union experience

    + Has surgery experience

    + Has orthopedics experience

    + Can routinely visit Swedish Medical Group clinics in First Hill and Redmond

    + Has experience in Process improvement and/or dally management systems

    Required qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree i Health related field or business plus minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare management, physician practice management and/or clinical operations. Or 9 years equivalent work experience which includes management experience.

    + Demonstrated progression into increasingly responsible leadership/management roles.

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Master's Degree

    + Previous multi-specialty clinic management experience preferred.
