Position: Full-time Associate Director of Housing
Shift/schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay Range: $65,000.00/year to $74,999.99/year
Travel: Required
Position Summary: Oversees all housing staff. Ensures clinical and administrative consistency throughout the Housing locations and assists the Director in managing operations within the department.
Education and Training: Qualified Health Professional with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and a minimum of three years of experience in the Behavioral Health Care field. Applicants with 5 years of experience within the field and a provisional QHP will be considered.
Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of three years of behavioral health care experience or five years in the behavioral health field with a concentration in chemical dependency.
Essential Duties:
+ Responsible for assisting the Director in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating programs and services.
+ Responsible for providing and/or ensuring proper supervision for all department assigned staff.
+ Responsible for assessing community needs and developing appropriate services models with the Director and leadership team.
+ Responsible for assessing effectiveness of program services, operations, and annual evaluations of staff.
+ Responsible for assisting the Director and leadership team with developing and implementing utilization review and appropriate quality assurance systems within the department.
+ Responsible for delivery of program services in a cost-effective manner.
+ Responsible for all written and oral reports in a timely and accurate manner as required by SJRC, oversight, and various regulatory and funding agencies.
+ Responsible for facilitating regular site visits, inspections, and submission of maintenance requests for all housing locations.
+ Responsible for ensuring rent is paid and collected.
+ Responsible for facilitating eviction process when needed.
+ Responsible for providing direct counseling services to clients, group, and family counseling when necessary and indicated.
+ Responsible for fostering and maintaining a good working relationship with funding agencies, local government entities and other community programs.
+ Works with agency leadership to maintain departmental compliance with local, state and federal standards and regulations.
+ Works with the department leadership team to develop and implement trainings, filing, and data tracking mechanisms to meet department needs.
+ Actively participates in meetings, committees, and qualified assurance activities.
+ Implements and complies with SJRC’s policy and procedures on employee supervision.
+ Keeps agency leadership teams informed of status and progress of all pertinent departmental issues and development initiatives.
+ Communicates with other Health and Human Services Professional/Agencies to assist in client case management and ensure the continuity of care.
+ Assists department and agency leadership in marketing, public relations, and networking activities to increase public understanding of substance abuse and to meet community need.
+ Assists Director in developing operating budget, grant and funding applications and revenue generating services to cover program operations.
+ Responsible for conducting staff meetings, case review meetings, in-service training and program development as needed or in the absence of the Director or leadership staff.
+ Participates in meetings with community and governmental operations and teams and participates in annual county planning meetings as assigned.
