    The Right of Way Agent position pays between $63,440.00 to $79,300.00 and the Senior Right-of-Way Agent pays between $78,640.00 to $98,300.00. Placement is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate.

Help assist with the coordination, planning and execution of project delivery, achieving high-quality perforjmmance through a solution-driven decision-making process.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    + Performs thorough and accurate title and property searches including the completion of thorough and accurate property title searches, right-of-way records, documents, and title chains to make determination of existing land rights.

    + Identifies, locates, and initiates real estate negotiations with individuals and other various entities.

    + Conducts productive negotiations internally with associates and externally with customers, including public and private entities, for the acquisition of real property rights.

    + Produces and obtains easements, ROW documents, letters, maps, drawings, and other written materials.

    + Reads and interpret real estate survey legal descriptions and corresponding exhibits, subdivision maps, parcel maps, work orders, various construction drawings and engineering drawings.

    + Interprets and assists in the production of engineering surveys and legal documents related to ROW acquisitions and disposals.

     

    Senior Level: Entry Level Duties Plus Additional Responsibilities

    Successful Candidate Must Have:

    + A Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record

    + Right of Way Agent: A Bachelor's degree, 1 year of related experience, in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of realted experience

    + Senior RIght of Way Agent: A Bachelor's degree, 5 yrs of related experience, in lieu of Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of related experience

    + Preferences: Senior ROW Professional (SR/WA) Designation from the International ROW Association (IRWA) or Project Manager Professional (PMP)

    Working Conditions

    Office and field environment. Most work is completed during normal working hours with some outdoor field and site visits are required from time to time, including overnight travel.
