We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilledOffice Engineer Ito support construction project teams through administrative and engineering coordination. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in engineering or construction management who excel in managing project documentation, ensuring compliance, and facilitating efficient communication across project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Maintain detailed and organized construction project files, records, and logs in compliance with internal and client standards.
+ Review and process daily field inspector reports to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.
+ Track and manage project issues, including Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, non-conformance reports, and changes in site conditions.
+ Support project managers and field teams with technical and administrative documentation to ensure alignment with engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design requirements.
+ Coordinate the review, distribution, and approval process for submittals and RFIs, ensuring timely responses and resolution.
+ Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, and progress reports.
+ Utilize software tools, includingB2GNow, to manage subcontractor compliance, reporting, and documentation.
+ Interface with contractors, design consultants, and owner representatives to facilitate efficient project delivery.
+ Assist with schedule monitoring and coordination of third-party inspections and testing.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree inEngineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldpreferred.
+ Minimum of5 years of relevant experience, preferably on large-scale construction projects.
+ Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and best practices.
+ Proven experience usingB2GNowcompliance tracking software.
+ Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
+ Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Procore, e-Builder, Bluebeam).
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
