    Job Title: EDM/CNC Machinist 3 - Set Up Technician

     

    Department: Production; Machining

     

    FLSA Status: Hourly; Non-Exempt

     

    Shift: 1st (6:00 am) & 2nd (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) or 3rd (10:00 pm to 6:30 am)

     

    Machine Type: Mitsubishi Advanced

     

    Software & Computer Skills: MasterCAM, ERP (Epicor preferred), Microsoft Office

    Essential Duties and Qualifications

    • Sets up, programs, operates, and troubleshoots EDM machines

    • Able to read and interpret programs and make edit to G & M codes

    • CAM software knowledge is a plus

    • Proficient using gauges, micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, and other measuring tools

    • Responsible for quality of each set up and production

    • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics

    • Proficient knowledge of GD&T

    • Manufacturing experience working with in medical/aerospace industries preferred

    • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the work area at all times

    • Helps reduce scrap, cost, time

    • Maintains positive work environment
