At Kelly®, we are currently looking for a Production Operator to join our team in Channahon, IL.

**Pay Rate:** $25.75 per hour

**Schedule:** 12-hour rotating shifts; 2 days on, 2 nights on, followed by 4 days off

Responsibilities of the Production Operator:

+ Operate forklifts to bring in raw materials and transport materials within the facility

+ Utilize PLCs to optimize and troubleshoot product quality and equipment performance

+ Perform cleaning tasks and apply computer skills as needed

+ Assist with preventative maintenance activities

+ Handle production and material management involving Styrofoam

Additional tasks include:

+ Moving units to the lot using a forklift

+ Applying labels when necessary

+ Running the off-stacker and managing the HMI panel by the band saw

+ Assisting with film changeovers for the hooder

+ Changing film for the banding machine

+ Transporting raw materials to the mezzanine

+ Keeping the grinder supplied

+ Aiding in start-ups and shutdowns

+ Participating in building clean-outs during shutdowns

+ Vacuuming fines off the screen

+ Serving as the fourth person during start-ups and 4” runs

+ Operating the compactor

+ Cutting cores from the hooder

You might be a great fit for this role if you:

+ Have at least 2 years of forklift experience and mechanical skills

+ Are comfortable working in a non-air-conditioned production environment

+ Can lift up to 50 lbs and frequently climb stairs and ladders

+ Hold a high school diploma or GED

+ Demonstrate strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities

+ Have experience using computers and are open to learning new systems

+ Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
