    The Clinical Therapist III, EMYL treats patients by utilizing a variety of modalities as a member of the multidisciplinary clinical treatment team. Provides clinical supervision to team members including those working towards advanced licensure.

    Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    1. Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Master's degree in Counseling, or related fields.

    2. Minimum of 5 years in post advanced license experience.

    3. Proficiency with policy review and program planning.

    4. Ability to work as part of a team, while building collaborative relationships.

    5. Must possess excellent follow through and attention to detail.

    6. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    7. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

    Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

    1. Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to team members

    Licenses and Certifications Required:

    1. Professional Counselor License or NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapy,Professional Counselor.

    2. Approved Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Social Worker Supervision Certification.

    3. For the BHSU Assigned Clinical Therapist III must have the following qualifications:

     

    Independently licensed LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist who has either an LCADC/CADC or at least two years of experience* providing direct clinical services to youth and young adults with co-occurring behavioral health and substance use treatment needs.

     

    *The requisite SUD treatment experience with youth should demonstrate the 1) use of integrated

     

    assessment approach that results in highly individualized and holistic treatment plans; 2) the use

     

    of trauma informed evidence-based practices that assist youth and young adults in identifying

     

    and changing patterns of behavior related to substance use; 3) the delivery of psycho-educational

     

    groups supportive of age appropriate pro-social learning, problem solving, life-skill

     

    development, and coping strategies.

     

    4. Valid Drivers License from a USA State.

    5. AHA HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED Certification, or completed within the first 90 days of employment.

    Carrier Clinic Specific Certification:

    Handle with Care certification, or completion required during new hire orientation.
