Hackensack Meridian _Health_ seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease physicians to join our growing team. Successful candidates will provide exceptional care for patients with infectious diseases, actively contribute to educational activities and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the field of infectious disease. This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing, integrated academic health network.
Responsibilities
+ Provide expert consultation and management of patients with infectious diseases including medical, surgical/trauma, orthopedic and OBGYN patients
+ Collaborate on care for patients in the new Leukemia and BMT service, an extension of the renowned Hackensack Meridian Health Leukemia and BMT program
+ Manage the HIV clinic at the Family Health Center
+ Contribute to resident and fellow recruitment, teaching and quality improvement
+ Collaborate with ID pharmacists on antibiotic stewardship initiatives
+ Engage in ID related industry trials and clinical research

Requirements Include
+ M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
+ Completion of an accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship
+ Board eligibility or certification in Infectious Diseases
+ Have or have the ability to obtain State of New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS
+ Active interest in resident education and research

Starting at $218,000 Annually

+ Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.
+ Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
+ Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
+ Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
In addition to our compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
