    **Old Bridge Medical Center** is seeking a highly motivated and experienced physician to join our team as a **Physician** **Facilitator** . As a key member of the leadership team, you will collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and Care Management Department to ensure efficient and effective healthcare delivery.

    Responsibilities:

    + Lead and mentor the Care Management team to optimize resource utilization and patient care.

    + Ensure compliance with payer regulations and medical necessity criteria (e.g., MCG, InterQual).

    + Conduct utilization reviews and manage denials/appeals.

    + Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote appropriate utilization of hospital services.

    + Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and utilization committees.

    + Educate medical staff on utilization guidelines and documentation best practices.

    Qualifications:

    + Unrestricted medical license in the State of New Jersey.

    + Minimum 5 years of clinical practice experience.

    + Strong interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

    + Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.

    + Proven ability to drive results and produce outcomes.

    + Board Certification by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP) preferred.

    + Membership in the American College of Physician Advisors (ACPA) encouraged.

    Starting at $216,675 Annually

    + Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
