The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
The Associate Director, Digital Sourcing & Supplier Enablement, is a senior leader accountable for the vision, execution, and sustainment of enterprise-wide Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms that support sourcing, contract lifecycle management, supplier onboarding, buying & invoicing, and master data governance across RTX. This role leads a cross-functional team of functional specialists and technical developers responsible for managing the full lifecycle of SAP Ariba, MDG-Vendor, and cloud integration capabilities, ensuring compliance, supplier transparency, and consistent global adoption.
This leader serves as a key strategic partner to business units, category leaders, and enterprise DT functions to deliver secure, efficient, and insight-driven platforms that enable supplier engagement, regulatory compliance, and supply chain resilience.
What You Will Do:
Enterprise Ownership of Digital S2C Solutions
+ Provide end-to-end leadership of SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Buying & Invoicing), MDG-Vendor, and CIG, ensuring global consistency in sourcing practices, supplier onboarding, and contract governance.
Supplier Enablement & Master Data Governance
+ Develop and operationalize supplier lifecycle frameworks that streamline onboarding, enforce compliance (e.g., ITAR, US Persons, DFARS), and improve vendor data quality across business units.
Integration & Digital Thread Alignment
+ Align upstream sourcing platforms with enterprise architecture and product lifecycle strategies, ensuring seamless integration into downstream systems (S/4HANA, ECC, Fieldglass) through middleware and cloud connectors.
Leadership & Talent Strategy
+ Lead a high-performing team of technical experts, business analysts, and platform architects. Build a culture of innovation, accountability, and growth, fostering continuous learning in modern cloud technologies and data governance.
Strategic Partnership & Governance
+ Collaborate closely with supply chain, legal, compliance, DT security, and transformation teams to drive roadmap alignment, value delivery, and enterprise platform governance.
Strategic Focus Areas:
+ Enterprise-wide Ariba Sourcing and Contract Lifecycle platform strategy
+ Supplier onboarding, segmentation, and risk governance through MDG-Vendor
+ Integration via SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) and alignment to S/4HANA
+ Regulatory attribute management for ITAR, US Persons, and export control
+ Cross-business standardization of Ariba upstream sourcing and contract workflows and downstream functionality
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or related field; with 12 years of experience in Source-to-Contract systems, digital supply chain transformation, or ERP application management
+ Deep knowledge of SAP Ariba suite (Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Buying), MDG, and supplier enablement processes
+ Proven track record of leading complex, enterprise-scale sourcing platform implementations
+ Strong understanding of compliance requirements in the Aerospace & Defense industry

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
