For more than 50 years, physicians from Intermountain Health and National Jewish Health, have worked together to create a heart and vascular program known for exceptional quality, superior outcomes, and innovative cardiovascular treatments.

Today, this unique clinical partnership has resulted in the formation of a top-tier heart and vascular program (https://connect.intermountainhealth.org/denver-heart/) serving the needs of patients throughout the Rocky Mountain West.

As a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, you’ll work with 2 other surgeons and 4 Advanced Practitioners to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Some highlights you can expect are:

+ Practice at Saint Joseph Hospital in downtown Denver, CO

+ Saint Joseph Hospital has earned 3-out-of-3 stars from The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) for patient care and outcomes in coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG), and 2 stars for aortic valve replacement (AVR), and mitral valve replacement/repair (MVRR).

+ Take Q3 call only at one hospital (APPs also take Q4 practice/OR call)

+ Robotic capable

+ Full ICU support with excellent group of Intensivists on site

+ A growing Structural Heart Program and a dedicated shock program

+ Our Medical Group is a physician-led group with the administrative support of a larger hospital system

How we'll support you:

Compensation: Our competitive compensation consists of an initial base salary of **$800,000 plus a wRVU bonus incentive.** Additionally, there is up to a **$75,000 annual quality bonus** . We are also offering a **$25,000 starting bonus** . A relocation bonus is also available if applicable.

What you’ll bring:

+ MD/DO Education

+ Unrestricted license in Colorado or able to obtain

+ Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery

+ DEA

+ Two years experience preferred

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
