Eurofins Environment Testing in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Lab Analyst to join our team. Our lab specializes in environmental testing and applied analytical chemistry. Our analytical data has provided support for a diverse range of clientele.
The Lab Analyst is responsible for Performing a variety of tasks associated with aquatic toxicity, microbiology, and culturing of organisms and bacteria. Records daily observations of aquatic tests and associated water chemistry. Performs both routine and non-routine tasks following verbal or written instructions.
+ Routine sample preparation and analysis following standard operating procedures.
+ Follow quality control procedures as outlined in Quality Assurance Manual
+ Interpret and report data.
+ Perform data processing, and data entry.
+ Perform routine instrument maintenance.
+ Enter data into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
+ Other general laboratory related duties as assigned.
+ Work efficiently to meet project due dates.
+ Other duties include maintaining the laboratory’s cleanliness, consumables, equipment, and data files. Work under close to moderate supervision.
+ High School Diploma
+ Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Biology including courses in Microbiology, Zoology and/or Ichthyology or related animal studies.
+ Meticulous attention to detail
+ Basic computer skills (10-key, Word, Excel)
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Dexterity to work with small objects and delicate organisms
+ Ability to see and count small, moving aquatic organisms
+ Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
+ Professional working proficiency in English is required, including the ability to read, write, and speak in English.
Position is full-time, typically Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm with rotating weekends (required) and possibility for overtime.
The salary range for this position is $19-$21 / hour.

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
