Position Summary
This position manages and communicates all elements of accounting functions of the Acument Global Technologies group of companies (Group) including all operations & HQ functions. It
maintains the integrity of all accounting and financial activities including the maintenance of the general ledger and control and accuracy of the accounts of the Group, and provides timely and
effective service to controllers and HQ managers.
The Accounting Manager will support the CFO on managing the Group’s financial resources to support its strategic goals to ensure financial stability, optimize investments, and drive business
growth.
Position Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
+ Assure the complete timely and accurate monthly financial statement closings for the Group.
+ Maintain control and oversight over general ledger including posting month end journal entries, variance analysis and correcting journal entries for all the legal entities of the
Group.
+ Assure complete timely general ledger account reconciliation for all general ledger balances of the Group companies through the use of Blackline.
+ Present the monthly consolidated and legal entities Balance Sheets, including detailed quarterly analysis and variance explanations.
+ Work closely with other departments of the organization, especially IT, to develop new procedures to improve efficiencies and internal controls where needed.
+ Assist with the annual budget preparation and monthly forecast.
+ Work closely with HQ departments on Budget, Forecast, and other ad-hoc reporting as needed.
+ Analyze the monthly departmental performance of HQ departments and communicate variances with each Department head proposing actions to reduce costs.
+ Ensure that the fixed assets accounts of the Group are correctly being maintained. This includes the analysis of the budgeted capital expenditures of the Group and Capital Authorization Requests (CARs).
+ Support the Tax department on filing tax returns, especially in the areas of sales and use tax, personal property taxes and income and state taxes.
+ Coordinate and support the timely completion of the financial external audit, including completion of auditors schedule requirements and account reconciliation requirements associated with the audit.
+ Research accounting literature to address current issues involving accounting and financial reporting.
+ Assist the Finance Department with AP, AR and other Accounting Support including support to the Plants.
+ Assure the continuous standardization of accounting practices and processes throughout the Group companies.
+ Responsibility to directly communicate and present information to our overseas ownership and collaborate closely with headquarters accounting.
+ Support the CFO in special projects.
+ Responsible for the management and maintenance of the expense reporting system (Concur).
Technical Skills
This position requires strong technical skills to analyze data, prepare presentations and reports, and make strategic decisions. Key areas of expertise include:
+ Experience working with ERP systems like SAP, INFOR, QAD, AS400.
+ IFRS knowledge.
+ Proficient using tools like Excel, Google (including Excel macros, pivot tables, etc.).
+ Budgeting and forecasting.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision, possess good project management skills, and be
able to offer logical and innovative solutions to complex issues.

This position requires soft skills that will enable to collaborate effectively, communicate financial insights, and navigate the fast-paced industry environment:
+ Problem-solving: This position will need to analyze complex financial data, assess risks, and develop strategic solutions to present to the management.

+ Time management: Managing multiple projects, deadlines, and financial reports requires the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Communication: Presenting financial reports, key trends, and other accounting information clearly and concisely is key for this role.
+ Attention to detail: Small errors in financial reporting, or analysis can have significant consequences, making precision an essential skill.
+ Adaptability: The automotive industry evolves rapidly due to shifts in financial markets, economic trends, and regulatory changes, requiring this position to stay informed and
flexible.

Education
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 8 years of public
or private accounting roles.
Preferred:
Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification
Experience with SAGE and Tagetik
Manufacturing Industry Experience
