Position Summary
Serves as a corporate contact for current national account customers. Responsible for developing relationships with customers, negotiating contract renewals, ensuring operating locations follow contract requirements, work with operating companies to resolve any customer issues and work with the customers on long term growth strategies. Also, responsible for seeking new national accounts that fit business model and working with the operating locations on proposed contracts for these opportunities. At start up of a new account, this position is the point of contact to coordinate a smooth rollout of the new business. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:
+ National account customer relations, opportunity development and issue resolution.
+ Develop new national account business either through a Request For Proposal (RFP) from a customer or cold calling to obtain a RFP for business; coordinate with OpCos to secure interest; run profit models and analyze; garner mutual interest and commitment through contract negotiations and then coordinate smooth rollout.
+ Develop relationships with customers through regular meetings, day to day calls/ constant communication, company outings or non-work related events.
+ Negotiate contracts and contract renewals.
+ Implementation and management of new contracts with all OpCos; ensuring appropriate set up through daily communication of customer contract vendor agreements, compliance audits, conference calls, and group meetings; assist in managing inventory and audits at OpCo level; monitor Accounts Receivables (A/R) for accounts at OpCo level.
+ Customer issue resolution by daily communication with OpCo team members via phone, email, and conference calls. Direct communication with corporate contacts to resolve major issues and direct contact for OpCo specific issues.
+ Develop and implement customer growth strategies by working closely with corporate contacts to assist with growth plans; realign customers geographically; discuss and explore future growth opportunities with OpCo Presidents to prepare for new business opportunities and to ensure maximum profitability for company; communicate with customers best possible opportunities to maximize growth with limited expense for both customer and PFG.
