We are seeking a **CWI Inspector** to join our Alabaster, AL team! Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Perform welding, bolting, concrete, masonry, and soils inspections.
+ Perform field testing for concrete, hot mix, soils and aggregates.
+ Daily completion of test reporting and time sheet entry.
+ Proactive communication between project managers, office dispatcher, and client representatives.
+ Completion of online safety training modules as assigned.
+ Other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum requirements:
+ Must be CWI certified or be eligible to sit for CWI test within three months of hiring.
+ A valid driver's license is required.
+ Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
+ Have a high school diploma or GED.
Technical requirements:
+ Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, and LIMS software.
+ Able to read project drawings and specifications.
+ Knowledgeable of construction materials such as steel, concrete, aggregates, masonry.
+ Detail report writing.
+ Ability to communicate with stakeholders.
Other miscellaneous qualities:
+ Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
+ Must be willing to work either day or night shifts
+ Must be willing to transition between inspector and field technician.
+ Must be willing to work “off hours” when needed and up to 60 hours per week as needed
