    About the Role

     

    As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for providing coordinating building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings.

     

    This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, clients, and building occupants, ensuring prompt professional, and solution-oriented responses to inquiries, concerns, and service requests to maintain high levels of satisfactions and trust.

     

    Act as the facilities liaison to the client's executive leadership team, ensuring seamless communication, alignment with strategic goals, and delivery of high-quality workplace services that support client priorities.

     

    Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department target dates. Mentor and coach as needed.

     

    Coordinate and handle facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.

     

    Monitor and track maintenance requests, following up to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.

     

    Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.

     

    Prepare and handle capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.

     

    Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.

     

    Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.

     

    Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.

     

    Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety standard processes.

     

    Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately sophisticated issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

     

    What You’ll Need

     

    Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.

     

    Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

     

    Ability to guide the exchange of difficult information, convey performance expectations and balance problems.

     

    Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.

     

    Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.

     

    Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

     

    In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. preferred.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $85,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $95,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
