Description
The mission of the Idaho Industrial Commission is to fairly administer the Idaho Workers' Compensation Law and the Crime Victims Compensation Act.
Please note that this is a limited duration position that is estimated to end on November 10, 2025.
The Idaho Crime Victims Compensation Program, a division of the Industrial Commission is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to temporarily join our team. The primary responsibilities will include scanning documents and performing data entry tasks to support our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Example of Duties:
+ Scan and digitize physical documents, ensuring high-quality and accurate electronic copies.
+ Perform data entry tasks, including entering information into databases and systems with precision.
+ Review medical bills and records to determine if all required documentation is available to perform next steps.
+ Organize and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of information.
+ Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness before entering into the system.
+ Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as answering phones, and responding to emails.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and resolve any discrepancies.
+ Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data protection regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in administrative support is a plus.
+ Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably with data entry and document scanning tasks
+ Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and data entry software.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
+ Familiarity with basic office equipment, such as scanners, printers, and copiers.
