    Overview

     

    The Department of Emergency Medicineat Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) is seeking an Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound (AEMUS) Fellowship Trained BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join our Ultrasound Division and team of dedicated Emergency Physicians.In this role, you would provide clinical care at oneofDartmouth Health system community hospitals as well as at DHMC, the academic hub for Dartmouth Health and a Level I Trauma Center.Both are located in scenic, rural New Hampshire with close ties to the Dartmouth College community.

     

    Ideal applicants will have graduated from an EUFAC accredited AEMUS Fellowship and passed orbeeligible to take the AEMUS FPD exam. Additionally, competitive candidates will have established themselves as a successful academic physician demonstrated by program development, teaching excellence, and/or research funding, but all applications will be considered. In addition to direct patient care, primary responsibilities include US education and supervision of our AEMUS fellows, house-staff, medical students, off-service residents and Emergency Medicine residents. US leadership opportunities exist for applicants with the right experience. The position carries a faculty appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at a rank commensurate with experience.
