Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the Middlesex County, NJ area. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities including processing payroll and onboarding employees, handling accounts payables and accounts receivables duties, and more. The ideal candidate must have ADP Workforce now experience. If you have 3+ years of bookkeeping and payroll experience, this might be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process payroll using ADP Workforce Now to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online for financial record-keeping and payroll-related accounting tasks.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties

• Perform regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Collaborate with HR and other departments to address employee payroll inquiries.

• Generate and review payroll reports for management and regulatory purposes.

• Assist with tax filings and compliance documentation related to payroll.

• Support HR functions as needed, including onboarding and benefits administration.

Requirements

• Must be proficient in ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks.

• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles.

• Proven experience in payroll processing and management.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Any HR experience is considered a plus.
